The focus of the chair is on the economics of decision-making and strategic interaction in markets, organizations and elsewhere. Key methods in this research are game theory and laboratory experiments, where human subjects make choices under controlled conditions.
Core elements of the teaching offered by the chair include the application of economics methodology to the question how businesses and other organizations operate and interact, and elementary data analysis in the context of business decisions.
